Vaccinations

Vaccines are the most effective way to prevent infectious diseases. They protect you and your child from many serious and potentially deadly diseases, and protect other people in your community.

The NHS website has more information about how vaccines work.

The NHS offers vaccines to everyone in the UK. The NHS provides a checklist of these vaccines and the age at which they should ideally be given. View the NHS Vaccine checklist.

If you are not sure whether you or your child has had all your routine vaccinations, ask your GP or practice nurse.
